Who we are

Abracabazza is the magic business of Barry, a magician based in Sydney who performs at parties and events. “We” in this policy means Barry and Abracabazza.

What we collect

We only collect the details you choose to send us.

Through the enquiry form, that’s your name, email address, phone number if you add it, what you’re enquiring about, any event details, any lesson details (who the lesson is for, the learner’s age range, experience, preferred format and general availability) and the message you include. For lessons we ask only for an age range, never a child’s name.

Please only share details about other people, such as a guest of honour, if you have their permission, or a parent’s or guardian’s for a child.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, and to plan and perform at your event. We don’t sell them, share them for anyone else’s marketing, or add you to a mailing list.

Where it goes

When you send a form, your details are emailed to Barry’s inbox. The site runs on Cloudflare, and the email is delivered through Resend, an email delivery service. Neither keeps your details beyond what it needs to deliver the message. Before a form is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the submission comes from a person rather than an automated program; it may briefly process technical details such as your browser and IP address to do that.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only for the minimum time needed to respond to your enquiry and to provide the event or lessons you arrange with us. Once they are no longer needed, we delete them.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you, so we can see how many people visit and which pages they read. There is no advertising or other tracking. Our Instagram link takes you to Instagram, where Instagram’s privacy policy applies.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your details

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. To do so, email abracabazza@gmail.com.
